Speech by Tseung Kai Shek at his Headquarters.
The Communists have come to terms with foreigners
by giving certain concessions.
The Kuomintang will never succeed unless they exter-
minate the Communists.
The Victory of the lukden Militarists on the Peking
Hankow Railway has given ruch pain.
He hopes that (Wong) Ching liai will not become a tool
to the Communists.
On the 2nd April Tseung Chung Ching gave an instructive lecture on the occasion of the 5th Memorial Service held at his Headquarters in Wanking. The lecture reads as follas:-
Comrades! Let me start my lecture with an account of the situation in Wuhan. Of late 54 foreign gun-boats have been at Wuhan, all Japanese firms have resumed business since the 27th April, and the state of panic is over. This shows that the so-called Goverment and Kuomintang Department in Wuhan no longer has the courage to offer any resistance, having experienced the cudgel of their enemies. They have made concessions and come to terms with them. Nobody in China or in any foreign country will not abominate the Communists when they have thus broken off from our Kuomintang and no longer enjoy the protection of our sign-board. When official declaration is made by our Kuomintang in Nanking of its definite and resolute separation from the Communist Part at Wuhan, the Communists, whatever natural great talents they may have and however wicked and dangerous, malignant and
